It was a little surprising that Graham and Emma never made a cameo, other than one rhe mention of them. The blurb mentions Emma and Reid, but Reid is not our hero in the traditional meaning of the word. And this is a bad recipe for a book in which he’s one of the main characters. But once accepting, these two forged a connection that is so powerful and profound.

Between the Lines (Between the Lines Trilogy, book 1) by Tammara Webber

In this story Reid has a car crash whilst driving under wrbber influence. Emma’s friend Emily is a great character too, not just as a foil for Emma’s thoughts and lots of backstorybut as a charming and quirky person on her own.

He knows when he’s being a douchecanoe, and he knows when he’s being a pain in the ass. Hmmmm, I have a lot of conflicting thoughts of this book. Overall, the book was pretty boring. I can’t say enough good things about this book. And the sweetness he was so afraid to show anyone, until Dori come along. It’s really true, every bad person really deserves a second chance.

Emma is the type of character that you want to smoosh up and hug when she’s upset. I started to have a soft spot for Reid in the last book but in this book my expectations were exceeded! I feel like Tammara Webber knows the world of movies okay, I totally cheated and stalked her a little, and I know her husband and son work in filmand she let a little door open up for all of us so we could peek in.
